I have run into the same type of problem that some here have described as "glowing alternator light" after engine shut down and ignition off. I find that when I wiggle the 3 pin connector at the alternator the light is intermittently on or off. More than just a bad connection, and I believe I need a new plug. Problem is I am not sure what or where to find one. An internet search didn't return any photos with the plug's likeness. Anyone know where I could find this plug?

I was able to open the car using the backup cable. The battery has been restored and the car starts fine. However, the lock / unlock motor(s) do not activate either way when the key fob is pressed.

Anyone have experience with this issue?

Thanks

This is the alarm I recently installed into my noble, taking out the old one was a snap and doing the wiring for this was was easy as most of the wires are already there from the old alarm.

New alarm also bypasses the dreaded faulty door/domelight timer that gives us problems and has no available replacement anymore according to Rossion.

Side benefit is that it has a built in turbo timer, can remote start your car (will do so when battery goes low to charge it back up) has a pager built in AND you can put a pic of your OWN CAR on your remote control!!

the alarm is the fortress FS-80....... anyone interested let me know I have a special relationship with the manfacturer..... all the female voices on the alarm remote were recorded and sent to the factory by me:zoom:
